The focus of our most recent day there was sprouting. We discussed the benefits and methods of sprouting seeds and legumes like mung beans, wheatgrass, sunflower seeds, pea greens etc. Then we made a variety of dehydrated crackers and a warm carrot soup, into which we added the sprouted mung beans. We also made delicious raw sprouted humous, sun-dried tomato spread and raw pesto.
Here are some samples of the lovely raw food we created during the class.
